Breath of Peace
Look how the hippo seems to be smiling, breathing the fresh air - such a soothing experience to watch.

Endangered Skin Pattern
What we often miss, while watching the big picture, is the minimal details what our planet has gifted. Well, you are looking at one of the giant animals in the world - The Indian Rhinoceros. I pictured it in a whole different way and was astonished to see the patterns that embrace this giant. The folds and dots constitute the shoulder part which is 5cms thick. The Rhino skin is ofter mis-understood as a bulletproof one but its not. The thick skin is to prevent it from thorns grasses and other obstacles. While the surface of a rhino's skin is vulnerable to irritation, then, its thickness helps prevent serious injuries or complications.

Diamond in the Forest
Webs are not the weakest link. They are strong enough to hold a diamond in the center

Frames of minimalism were always my bucketlisted ones and the time I entered Junona buffer at Tadoba as soon as I came to the lakeside, believe me I already imagined this exact frame. The cormorant resting on the rocks with the hazy afternoon forest behind - was it something less then a fine art?

Call of the Wild

Feather Textures
Domestic Fowls are this beautiful !!

Roaring Patterns
Its all about watching the kings closely in their habitat. As the sun was about to set, the golden hues appeared to shine on the velvety skin of this big cat. It was Madhuri's sub adult cub who walked straight into our path and that was one royal transition through the jungles, which was worth capturing..

Gibbon Hand
Come here, he waved...

Strength of Gaur
The Indian Gaur is one of the strongest mammals in our country. It even holds the power to toss an adult tiger in the air with its head. Emphasizing at the core of its strength - the head and the horns.

Flight of Dreams
The flapping sounds of a pack of shovelers reached my ears when I was still in the notion of being inside a dream. The place, beyond doubt, was a bit different than anywhere I have gone to - hypnotic, misty, hallucinating with chirps and koos of numerous birds, splashing inside the water, performing their morning activities. Probably it was 8 in the morning but still dark it was and suddenly, a purple heron landed and these ducks swarmed towards the sky, splashing off the water. Was it really a dream? I still think of it even today...

An Identity
Every tiger has their own set of stripes - unique from everyone else. The stripes define who they are, their gender and much more. In this light, I emphasized these stripes to my work as a juxtaposition of fine art & our country's untamed wilderness.

Misty Marsh
